Like for his 8th birthday, Malachi insisted again that we celebrate his 9th at home. We made room for a horde of his friends to invade the house and decorated the place lavishly. Mom kept the crowd entertained with games, and Dad dished up a self-designed birthday cake and other kids party foods. Several of Malachi's friends remarked that this was the best birthday party they had ever been at!
